Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Tuesday received APC House of Assembly aspirants as they collected their Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) clearance forms in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
The governor congratulated the aspirants on reaching the important stage in the electoral process, describing it as a significant milestone in their political journey.
He urged them to conduct their campaigns with discipline, promote unity among party members, and uphold the principles of democracy throughout the electioneering period.
Governor Fintiri also encouraged the aspirants to remain focused on issue based campaigns, respect the rule of law, and contribute to a peaceful and credible electoral process that reflects the will of the people.
