Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to win the treble, insisting that the Catalan giants have the quality to conquer Europe and dominate on multiple fronts.
Speaking to CBS Sports, the Spanish international said winning three major trophies in one season was a realistic target for Barcelona.
“Treble possible, absolutely,” Yamal said.
The teenage sensation also expressed his belief in Barcelona’s standing among the world’s elite clubs, highlighting the team’s ambition and confidence ahead of the challenges facing them this season.
“We are Barcelona, in my view we are the best team in the world,” he added.
A treble typically involves winning the domestic league title, the principal domestic cup competition and the UEFA Champions League in the same season. Achieving the feat would require Barcelona to maintain consistency across all three competitions.
Yamal has become a key figure in Barcelona’s attacking setup, with his creativity, dribbling and ability to influence important matches making him one of the club’s most prominent young stars.
His comments underline the confidence within the squad as Barcelona pursue silverware and seek to establish themselves among Europe’s leading teams.
However, the challenge remains significant, with fierce competition expected in both domestic and continental competitions as the season progresses.
