The Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, Professor Augustine Clement, has led the university’s management team on a condolence visit to Fufore following the death of the Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Yahaya Saidu.
The university’s Information and Protocol Officer, D. D. Kwabe, disclosed that the visit took place on Monday, October 12, 2026, with the team extending condolences to the Emir of Fufore, the deceased’s family and the people of the local government area.
Professor Clement expressed sadness over the loss, describing the death as a significant blow to the community. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and for God to grant his family and the people of Fufore the strength to bear the loss.
The visit reaffirmed ADSU’s commitment to maintaining cordial relationships with traditional institutions, government authorities and communities across Adamawa State.
