Trump Forms Committee to Examine Whether Fed Governor Lisa Cook Should Be Removed

US President Donald Trump has established a committee to investigate Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook and determine whether there are grounds for her removal, according to a White House notice dated October 7 and published on Friday.

The committee will examine allegations against Cook and report to Trump on whether there is sufficient cause to remove her from office, the notice said.
