Sync Finance Company appoints Onwuanibe as chairman

Sync Finance Company Limited has appointed Paul Onwuanibe as Chairman of its Board of Directors, following the receipt of a no objection from the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors and took effect on October 1, 2026.

Onwuanibe is the Founder and Chief Executive of Landmark Africa Group, developer of the Landmark Centre and Landmark Beach Resort in Victoria Island, Lagos.

He brings experience in strategic leadership, investment, and building and expanding businesses in Nigeria and abroad. He holds master’s degrees in Architecture, Environmental Design and Planning, and Construction Management.

Speaking on the appointment, Onwuanibe said he looked forward to working with the board and management to strengthen corporate governance, deepen services to customers and support sustainable growth.

Sync Finance Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ikenna Imo, said Onwuanibe’s business experience would contribute to the company’s next phase of growth and its delivery of financial solutions.
