The Nigerian military has recorded 367 attacks during its operations across the country in September, with troops killing 52 terrorists, according to the Defence Headquarters.
The operations were conducted across various theatres as security forces intensified efforts against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities.
The military also carried out clearance operations, intelligence driven raids and other offensive activities aimed at disrupting terrorist and criminal networks.
The September operations formed part of the Armed Forces’ sustained efforts to deny terrorists and other armed groups freedom of movement and prevent attacks on communities.
The Defence Headquarters has continued to report arrests, rescue of kidnapped victims and recovery of weapons and ammunition during its nationwide operations.
The military said its personnel would continue to maintain pressure on criminal groups while working with other security agencies to improve security across affected areas.
