Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has commenced mobilization efforts in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his return from an official trip to the United States.

The governor’s move comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with stakeholders across the country beginning to strengthen their support structures.

Zulum is expected to engage political leaders, supporters and other stakeholders as part of efforts to mobilise support for the President in Borno State and the wider North-East region.

The development also highlights the growing political activities in Borno, where discussions around federal support, development and the 2027 elections have continued to attract attention.

Zulum’s mobilisation comes against the backdrop of renewed political realignments across the North-East as political actors position themselves ahead of the next general elections.
