Sporting Lagos responded immediately after the interval, with Abdullahi restoring parity in the 51st minute.
The visitors’ joy was short-lived, however, as Enyimba regained the lead three minutes later when Tobi Iyanda converted from the penalty spot to make it 2-1.
Sporting Lagos refused to surrender and produced a decisive late response.
Haruna Hadi levelled the contest in the 65th minute before Daniel Aboh completed the turnaround four minutes later, giving Sporting Lagos a 3-2 advantage they held until the final whistle.
The victory gave Sporting Lagos their second win of the campaign and provided a timely response to their 1-0 home defeat against Abia Warriors on Sunday.
For Enyimba, the defeat leaves them at the bottom of the table after four consecutive losses, with their difficult start further complicated by the off-field crisis surrounding the Aba-based club.
Elsewhere, Barau moved to the top of the table after recording a 2-0 victory over Abia Warriors in Kano.
Joseph Atule put Barau ahead in the 22nd minute before Ibrahim Ayoola doubled the advantage in the 61st minute.
Barau remain unbeaten after five matches, while the result saw Doma United surrender top spot following their 2-2 draw with Plateau United in Gombe.
Doma United appeared to be heading for victory after Michael Adegbite scored twice in the 35th and 47th minutes.
Plateau United, however, mounted a strong comeback, with Gideon Monday reducing the deficit in the 58th minute before Paul Samson equalised in the 77th minute to secure a point.
In Lagos, Kano Pillars and Inter Lagos shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
Ubong Friday gave Kano Pillars the lead in the 33rd minute, but Inter Lagos fought back through Bashir Abdulkarim, who equalised in the 75th minute.
The latest results further tightened the early-season NPFL standings, with several clubs separated by narrow margins as the campaign gathers momentum.
