The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has warned the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke over the ongoing crisis surrounding the state’s local government councils.

The party accused the state government of taking actions against local government workers and alleged that some employees were being targeted because of their political affiliations.

The APC called on the Adeleke administration to end what it described as political victimisation and ensure that local government workers are allowed to carry out their duties without interference.

The party also urged the state government to resolve the local government dispute through dialogue and respect for due process, stressing that continued tension could affect the smooth running of local councils across the state.

The development comes amid an ongoing political dispute in Osun over the control and administration of local government councils, with both the APC and the state government maintaining different positions on the matter.
