Lagos Shuts Church, 11 Other Facilities Over Environmental Breaches

The Lagos State Government has sealed a church and 11 other facilities over alleged violations of environmental regulations.

The enforcement action was carried out by relevant state authorities following inspections that identified breaches of established environmental standards.

Officials said the exercise is part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with environmental laws, protect public health and maintain cleaner and safer communities across the state.

The affected facilities are expected to address the identified violations and meet the required environmental standards before they can resume operations.
