The attack, which targeted the military base, was repelled by troops operating under Operation Hadin Kai, with support from other security and local forces.
The latest development highlights the continued security challenges confronting communities in parts of Borno State, where military formations remain critical to ongoing efforts to prevent terrorist groups from regaining ground.
Security forces have continued to maintain operations across the affected areas, targeting the activities and movements of insurgent groups while working to protect residents and strategic locations.
The military has repeatedly urged residents to remain vigilant and provide relevant information to security agencies to support efforts to safeguard communities and sustain peace in the state.
