Senior Pastor of Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has commissioned the new headquarters of Coleman Technical Industries Limited in Arepo, Ogun State, describing the company’s growth over the past five decades as a remarkable journey.
The commissioning ceremony held on Monday as part of activities marking Coleman’s 50th anniversary and the company’s continued expansion in Nigeria’s electrical manufacturing industry.
The newly commissioned facility covers approximately 4,900 square metres and was designed to strengthen Coleman’s operations while providing the infrastructure required to support its next phase of growth.
Speaking during the ceremony, Bakare commended the company’s transformation from a small business into a major African brand, expressing confidence that it could achieve a stronger global presence in the years ahead.
He described Coleman’s growth over the last 50 years as evidence of the importance of patience, investment and consistent development in building a sustainable business.
Bakare also urged the company’s leadership to focus on creating a transgenerational organisation capable of surviving and succeeding across different generations.
He said the progress achieved by Coleman demonstrated the potential of Nigerian businesses to develop from modest beginnings into major enterprises with regional and international relevance.
The pastor also highlighted his longstanding relationship with the Coleman family and said he had watched the company’s leadership develop over the years.
The commissioning marks another milestone for Coleman as it seeks to consolidate its position in Nigeria’s electrical and manufacturing sector while expanding its capacity to meet growing market demand.
