Adobe has expanded its partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Saudi-backed artificial intelligence company HUMAIN in a commitment valued at more than $4 billion.

Under the agreement, more than 27 million eligible Saudi citizens and residents aged 13 and above will receive 12 months of free access to Adobe Firefly Standard and premium features of Adobe Express. The free access is expected to roll out by the end of 2026.

The initiative will also introduce a new AI image-generation model jointly developed by Adobe and HUMAIN. The model is designed to better understand Saudi cultural contexts and generate images using Arabic-language prompts.

Adobe will additionally support Saudi startups and entrepreneurs through access to creative tools, training and expertise, while Adobe Digital Academy will provide learning opportunities aimed at developing AI, creative and marketing skills.

The partnership builds on an agreement between Adobe and HUMAIN announced in November 2025 and reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader push to expand its digital and AI capabilities.

For Adobe, the initiative also provides an opportunity to expand adoption of its AI-powered creative products as competition intensifies across the rapidly growing generative AI market.
