The management of a Kaduna-based university has denied claims by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that more than 200 academics have resigned from the institution.
The university described the claim as inaccurate, insisting that the reported mass exodus of lecturers does not reflect the actual situation at the institution.
The denial followed reports alleging that a large number of academic staff had left the university over concerns about working conditions and remuneration.
The management said it remains committed to providing a conducive environment for teaching, learning and research, while addressing issues affecting members of staff.
The development comes amid ongoing concerns over staff retention and working conditions in some Nigerian universities.
