A foundation has launched an agricultural academy in Bauchi State as part of efforts to support farmers and empower young people in the agricultural sector.

The initiative, launched to mark International Youth Day, is aimed at providing farmers and aspiring agricultural entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and skills to improve productivity and strengthen their livelihoods.

The academy is expected to focus on capacity building, modern farming practices and opportunities that can help young people participate more effectively in agriculture.

The initiative underscores the growing need to equip youths with relevant agricultural skills as part of efforts to strengthen food production and create sustainable economic opportunities in Bauchi State.
