The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has described the 2026 farming season in Yobe State as peaceful, noting the absence of major incidents capable of disrupting agricultural activities.
The group said the development was encouraging for farmers and rural communities, particularly in a state where security concerns have previously affected farming and livelihoods.
According to KACRAN, the peaceful farming season could contribute to improved agricultural productivity and strengthen cooperation between farming and herding communities.
The association also stressed the importance of sustaining peace and ensuring that farmers and livestock owners can carry out their activities without fear of attacks or clashes.
KACRAN called for continued collaboration among the government, security agencies, farmers, herders and community leaders to preserve the relative peace throughout the farming season.
The development is expected to provide greater confidence for agricultural communities and support food production across Yobe State.
