The Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested three individuals over alleged impersonation and possession of fake identification documents.
The suspects were reportedly apprehended by the command during efforts to curb activities involving fraudulent identification and impersonation in the state.
The NSCDC said the arrests form part of its efforts to protect the integrity of official identification documents and prevent individuals from using false identities to facilitate criminal activities.
The suspects are expected to face further investigation, with relevant authorities determining the next steps in accordance with the law.
The command also urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security agencies to support efforts to maintain law and order across Gombe State.
