Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress candidate for the Osun State governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji.
Ajayi said Osun State needs a chief executive who understands governance, public finance and management rather than an entertainer or a politician focused mainly on popularity.
He praised Oyebamiji’s experience as a former Commissioner for Finance and former banker, saying the APC candidate demonstrated stronger understanding of fiscal management, policy and the financial challenges facing the state during a recent town hall meeting.
The Osun governorship election is scheduled for August 15, 2026. Election
