The First Lady of Adamawa State, Her Excellency Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has arrived in Mubi North as part of an empowerment initiative aimed at improving the livelihoods of women across the Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone.
The initiative is designed to support hundreds of women with agricultural inputs, including fertiliser and other farming equipment, to strengthen their participation in agriculture and improve household incomes.
The intervention is expected to provide women farmers with the resources needed to increase agricultural productivity, expand their economic activities and contribute more effectively to the development of their communities.

Speaking through the initiative, the First Lady’s office reaffirmed its commitment to supporting women and creating opportunities that can improve their livelihoods and promote economic independence.
The distribution of agricultural inputs is also expected to encourage more women to engage in farming while strengthening food production and household economic stability across the northern part of the state.
The initiative reflects the importance of empowering women with practical resources that can provide sustainable sources of income and improve the welfare of their families.

The beneficiaries are expected to put the materials to productive use and utilise the opportunity to expand their agricultural activities.
The intervention further demonstrates the commitment of the Adamawa State Government and the office of the First Lady to supporting vulnerable groups and promoting inclusive development across the state.
