Motorola Solutions has raised its full-year revenue forecast after reporting stronger-than-expected quarterly results, driven by sustained demand for its public safety communications equipment and software.

The company, which supplies mission-critical technologies such as two-way radios, 911 emergency call systems, body cameras, and security software, said demand from public safety agencies remained resilient despite broader economic uncertainty. The recent acquisition of counter-drone technology firm D-Fend also strengthened its public safety portfolio.

Motorola now expects annual revenue of about $12.98 billion, above its previous forecast of $12.8 billion. The company also raised its adjusted earnings outlook after second-quarter revenue climbed to $3.13 billion, exceeding analysts’ expectations.

Following the upbeat results and improved guidance, Motorola Solutions’ shares rose in after-hours trading, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s continued growth and strong position in the public safety technology market.
