Birnin Gwari: Kaduna Is Grateful to Mr President, Says Uba Sani

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the Federal Government’s continued support in addressing security challenges and advancing development initiatives in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area.

The governor said the improved collaboration between federal and state security agencies has contributed to renewed efforts aimed at restoring peace in communities that have for years been affected by banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities.

According to Uba Sani, the Federal Government has demonstrated commitment to improving security through increased deployment of security personnel, enhanced intelligence gathering and sustained military operations targeting criminal elements operating in the area.

He noted that the progress being recorded in Birnin Gwari has encouraged displaced residents to gradually return to their communities while farmers are beginning to resume agricultural activities in areas that were previously inaccessible due to insecurity.

The governor also commended President Tinubu for supporting infrastructure development and other intervention programmes designed to improve the living conditions of residents in Kaduna State. He said the partnership between the Federal Government and the state government is yielding positive results in security, education, healthcare and road development.

Uba Sani reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining peace by working closely with traditional rulers, community leaders, security agencies and local stakeholders. He stressed that lasting security requires both military action and community participation, alongside programmes that create economic opportunities for young people.

Residents of Birnin Gwari have continued to call for sustained security operations to ensure that the gains already recorded are maintained and that normal social and economic activities can fully return across the local government area.

The governor urged citizens to continue supporting security agencies by providing credible information that would assist in preventing criminal activities, expressing confidence that sustained cooperation would further strengthen peace and stability in Kaduna State.
