The Walt Disney Company has partnered with TikTok in a new content-sharing agreement that will bring creator-made short-form videos featuring Disney’s iconic franchises to the Disney+ streaming platform.
As part of the deal, selected TikTok creators will be able to produce videos using official Disney content, including titles from Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and other popular brands. The videos will also appear in a dedicated vertical-video section on Disney+ called Verts, offering subscribers a mobile-friendly viewing experience.
Disney said the initiative is designed to help fans discover and engage with its stories in new ways while giving creators more opportunities to showcase their content. The move reflects the growing influence of short-form video and Disney’s efforts to attract younger audiences.
The partnership will initially launch in the United States before expanding to additional markets. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The collaboration marks a significant step for both companies as traditional entertainment and social media platforms continue to explore new ways of reaching digital audiences.
