Former P-Square manager and music executive, Jude Okoye, has denied allegations of financial misconduct and royalty diversion made against him by his younger brother, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P.
In a video statement released on Sunday, Jude maintained that all royalty payments and financial distributions made during his time as manager were carried out in accordance with existing agreements and were properly documented.
Reacting to claims that more than $1.2 million in royalties had been diverted, Jude said the allegations had already been investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and are currently the subject of ongoing court proceedings.
He also dismissed claims that Peter was removed as a signatory to the company’s bank accounts or denied access to royalty records, describing the allegations as false.
According to Jude, all relevant bank statements, financial records, contracts, and digital evidence have already been submitted before the court as part of the legal process.
He urged members of the public to disregard speculation and commentary circulating on social media, stressing that he would allow the judicial process to establish the facts surrounding the dispute.
The latest statement comes amid the long-running rift between the Okoye brothers, whose disagreements over business operations, royalties, and financial management have continued to attract widespread public attention.
The dispute intensified after Peter Okoye recently accused Jude of diverting royalties and engaging in financial misconduct. However, the matter remains before the court, and no judicial ruling has been delivered.
Both parties have maintained their respective positions as legal proceedings continue.
