Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has agreed to supply Anthropic with tens of billions of dollars worth of artificial intelligence servers and invest up to $5 billion in the AI startup, marking one of the largest strategic partnerships in the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure market.
the agreement combines a long term supply arrangement for AMD powered AI servers with a significant equity investment in Anthropic. The partnership is expected to strengthen Anthropic’s computing capacity as demand for advanced AI models continues to grow.
