Rescued Oyo pupils, teachers may meet families today

ACCORDING TO A REPORT BY PUNCH NEWS,Rescued pupils and teachers from Oyo State are expected to reunite with their families today following their release from captivity.

The victims, who were abducted by gunmen during a school trip, regained their freedom after days in captivity. Government officials and security agencies have been working to ensure their safe return and provide necessary medical and psychological support.

Authorities said arrangements are being made for the rescued pupils and teachers to meet their families, bringing relief to relatives who have anxiously awaited their return. The state government also commended security operatives and all those involved in the rescue efforts.

The incident has once again raised concerns over security in schools and the need for stronger measures to protect students and teachers across the country.
