The Special Adviser to Governor Agbu Kefas on Christian Religion Matters, Sunday Patrick Muke, has been commended for complementing the state government’s efforts in youth empowerment.

The member representing Yorro State Constituency, Joseph Kasong, gave the commendation during the graduation ceremony of 60 female youths trained in baking at the Charles Borromeo Catholic Cathedral Mini Hall in Jalingo.

He noted that Governor Agbu Kefas’ Five Finger Agenda has continued to create opportunities for the people through education, empowerment, and human capital development.

The Special Adviser, Sunday Patrick Muke, praised the resilience and determination of the graduates and promised to extend similar empowerment programmes to the Central and Southern zones of the state.

He called on Tarabans to continue supporting the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

In an overview, the Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Taraba State Chapter, Job Julius Saleh, said the training would positively impact the beneficiaries and boost their sources of income.

He noted that empowering women remains one of the most effective ways of strengthening communities and reducing poverty.

Former Taraba State YOWICAN Chairman, Pastor Ephraim Kwanchi, described the initiative as a valuable investment in the future of women and families across the Northern Zone of the state.

The programme, sponsored by the Special Adviser to Governor Agbu Kefas on Christian Religion Matters, Very Reverend Father Sunday Patrick Muke, in partnership with Chyoby Catering School, equipped the women with practical catering and entrepreneurial skills aimed at promoting self reliance and economic development.

The event featured colourful cultural displays by the Mumuye and Kona Cultural Troupe, entertaining guests and the graduands.
