Atlético Madrid’s Estadio Metropolitano will host the 2027 UEFA Champions League final, with Munich’s Allianz Arena and Barcelona’s Camp Nou selected to stage the competition’s showpieces in 2028 and 2029, respectively.
The 2027 final is scheduled for Saturday, June 5, at the Metropolitano, which will host the prestigious event for the second time after Liverpool defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 there in 2019.
The stadium has been Atlético Madrid’s home since 2017 and will mark its 10th anniversary in 2027. It replaced the Vicente Calderón and officially opened on September 16, 2017, with Atlético beating Málaga 1-0. Antoine Griezmann scored the venue’s first goal.
Located in north-east Madrid, the stadium holds approximately 70,000 spectators and features environmental measures, including solar panels, LED lighting and recycled rainwater for pitch irrigation.
The 2027 showpiece will be Madrid’s sixth European Cup or Champions League final, with the Santiago Bernabéu having previously hosted the event in 1957, 1969, 1980 and 2010.
Munich Football Arena, popularly known as the Allianz Arena, will stage the 2028 final. Bayern Munich’s home ground previously hosted the Champions League final in 2012 and 2025.

Barcelona’s Camp Nou will host the 2029 final, marking its third time staging the European Cup or Champions League showpiece. AC Milan defeated Steaua Bucharest 4-0 in 1989, while Manchester United famously beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in 1999.
The Champions League winners will also earn a place in the 2027 UEFA Super Cup against the Europa League champions. They will qualify automatically for the 2027/28 Champions League league phase if they have not secured qualification through their domestic competition.
