Concerns have been raised over what an observer described as the increasing frequency of terrorist attacks in communities across Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The observer said recent incidents have left communities increasingly vulnerable and created a growing sense of insecurity among residents, describing the situation as a serious threat to lives and livelihoods.

According to the statement, efforts by the Adamawa State Government and the paramount ruler of Hong, the Tòl Hòba, His Royal Majesty Alheri Bulus Nyako, are being acknowledged, but more comprehensive security measures are needed to effectively confront the threat.
The statement called for improved military capabilities, including sophisticated weapons for troops, aerial surveillance and stronger operations aimed at dismantling terrorist strongholds. It also urged greater commitment from the Federal Government to protecting residents and preventing further loss of lives.
The observer questioned how citizens could continue to support political leadership if they believe their security concerns are not being adequately addressed, while also asking what achievements could be presented to communities suffering from repeated attacks.
The statement concluded with a call for urgent action, stressing that early intervention is necessary to prevent the security situation from worsening.
