Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, has inaugurated the national and state executive structures of the Bello Muhammad Goronyo (BMG) Associates for Asiwaju/Shettima 2027 across the North-West.
The organisation is aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement and coordinating political mobilisation across the seven North-West states ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, held in Kaduna, brought together political stakeholders, government officials, women and youth representatives and other supporters from the region.
Goronyo called for peaceful and responsible political engagement ahead of the elections, while expressing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
He highlighted major infrastructure projects of the Federal Government, including the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road corridor, Zaria-Gusau-Sokoto road and ongoing rail projects.
As part of efforts to strengthen the group’s operations, Goronyo presented eight Toyota vehicles to the organisation, with one allocated to each of the seven North-West state structures and another to the national executive.
He urged the newly inaugurated executives to work with dedication, discipline and accountability while maintaining close contact with communities across the region.
The organization’s leadership also pledged to deepen engagement with youths, women and other grassroots stakeholders as preparation for the 2027 election continue.
