Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has condemned recent bandit attacks in Chiromawa, Garum Mallam, Beli in Rogo, Bebeji and Gwarzo, vowing decisive action against the perpetrators.
The governor sympathised with victims and affected families, describing the attacks as disturbing and unacceptable.
Yusuf said his administration was working with security agencies to strengthen surveillance, intelligence gathering and rapid response in the affected communities.
He urged residents to remain calm, cooperate with security personnel and provide credible information that could help prevent further attacks and apprehend the criminals.
The governor assured residents that his administration would continue taking necessary measures to protect lives and property and restore confidence across the affected areas.
