Troops have rescued two kidnapped victims and recovered 94 livestock during separate security operations in Kaduna and Kano states.

The operations were carried out as part of ongoing efforts by security forces to combat kidnapping, banditry and other criminal activities threatening communities across the two states.

According to reports, the troops successfully located and rescued the two victims who had been held by suspected criminals. The operation also led to the recovery of 94 livestock believed to have been taken or intercepted during the security operations.

The rescued victims have reportedly been taken to safety, while the recovered livestock were secured by the troops for further investigation and appropriate action.

The latest development underscores the continued efforts by security agencies to disrupt the activities of criminal groups and prevent them from operating freely in communities across the North.

Security forces have continued to intensify patrols and other operations in Kaduna, Kano and neighbouring states as part of measures to protect residents, rescue abducted persons and recover stolen property.
