The Nigerian Navy has expressed appreciation to Nigerians for the warm and enthusiastic reception accorded its personnel at the airport.

The Navy described the rousing reception as a demonstration of the strong relationship between the military and the Nigerian people, noting that the gesture was encouraging to personnel who continue to serve the country in challenging circumstances.

The force said the reception reflected the confidence and goodwill Nigerians have continued to show towards members of the armed forces and their contribution to national security.

The Navy also acknowledged the sacrifices made by its personnel in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities, particularly in the fight against insecurity, maritime crimes, illegal activities and other threats to the nation.

It urged Nigerians to continue supporting the armed forces by providing useful information and cooperating with security agencies to promote peace and stability across the country.

The Navy reaffirmed its commitment to protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity and safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.

The force said the support and encouragement received from Nigerians would further motivate its personnel to remain dedicated, disciplined and committed to their duties.
