The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission has urged all intending pilgrims for the 2027 Hajj to obtain their international passports before September 26, 2026, to facilitate timely registration for the pilgrimage.
The Commission said the advisory follows the decision by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to close the uploading of pilgrims’ data to the NUSUK MASAR Portal (e Track System) on September 26, 2026.
According to the Commission, intending pilgrims without valid international passports before the deadline may face challenges in completing their Hajj registration and processing other required travel documents.
To ensure compliance, the Commission directed its Departments of Operations and Pilgrims Registration Services to widely publicise the information, while Schedule Officers across the 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa State have been instructed to immediately notify all intending pilgrims under their supervision.
The Commission appealed to intending pilgrims to treat the directive with urgency and cooperate fully to ensure seamless preparations for the 2027 Hajj exercise.
The statement was issued by the Information Officer of the Commission, Abdullahi Aminu, on behalf of the Acting Executive Chairman.
