Ukraine Claims Strikes on Three Russian Missile Production Facilities

Ukraine’s military said it struck three facilities linked to Russia’s missile production in overnight attacks, targeting sites in the Tver and Nizhny Novgorod regions.

Ukraine’s General Staff said one target was a factory in Tver involved in manufacturing missile components. Another was a facility in Nizhny Novgorod used to dismantle intercontinental ballistic missiles. Kyiv said the operation aimed to weaken Russia’s ability to obtain explosives and rocket fuel.

Ukraine has increasingly used domestically produced drones, alongside missiles, to attack Russian oil refineries and military production facilities during the ongoing war.

The governor of Nizhny Novgorod region said a serviceman was killed while repelling the attack, adding that falling drone debris caused minimal infrastructure damage.

In Tver region, the governor reported that a drone attack sparked a fire at a plant in Redkino, which was later extinguished.

The reported damage to the targeted facilities could not be independently verified.
