Tinubu Meets EFCC, Housing Minister Over Management of Seized Properties

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, met with the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Olanipekun Ola Olukoyede, and the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqha Rabe Darma, at the State House in Abuja.

The meeting focused on the management and disposal of houses and other properties seized by the EFCC across the country, with emphasis on ensuring transparency, accountability and compliance with established procedures.

The engagement is part of ongoing efforts by the Federal Government to strengthen the management of recovered assets and ensure that their disposal is carried out in a transparent and accountable manner.

The meeting also brought together key government officials involved in the administration of seized properties, underscoring the administration’s focus on proper asset management and institutional accountability.
