Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a youth leader, Zakari Yahu Adamu, in connection with the recent terrorist attack on Naridon Community in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The suspect was apprehended at Fadan Chanwe following an intelligence-led operation carried out by security personnel. Military sources said the arrest is part of ongoing investigations into the deadly attack, which claimed several lives and left residents of the community in shock.
According to the military, the suspect is currently in custody and is assisting investigators as efforts continue to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the attack and identify other individuals who may have been involved.
Security authorities reaffirmed their commitment to tracking down all perpetrators of violence in the state, assuring residents that operations aimed at restoring peace and ensuring the safety of lives and property will continue.
The arrest comes amid intensified security operations across Southern Kaduna following the Naridon Community attack, as the military maintains its resolve to bring those responsible to justice.
