A joint U.S. Russian space crew landed safely on Earth after completing an approximately eight month mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

The returning crew spent more than eight months conducting scientific experiments, maintaining station systems and supporting a range of international research projects aboard the orbiting laboratory. The mission was carried out under the long running cooperation between NASA and Russia’s Roscosmos, despite continued geopolitical tensions between the two countries.
Officials said the crew members were in good condition following the landing and will undergo routine medical examinations before returning to their respective countries.
The successful return underscores the continued collaboration between the United States and Russia in human spaceflight, with the ISS remaining one of the few areas where both nations continue to work closely together.
