The Kremlin says US President Donald Trump has welcomed Russia’s involvement in diplomatic efforts to reach a settlement over Iran.
The statement follows a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which Putin said Moscow was ready to “do everything we can” to help end the war.
The remarks suggest Russia is seeking a role in diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict, as international attention remains focused on Iran and regional stability.
