Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has explained that his decision to join the All Progressives Congress was driven by his desire to promote unity, development and a stronger political future for the state.

Kefas said his political vision had always been centred on building a united Taraba where people from different communities and backgrounds could work together for the progress of the state.

The governor, while speaking on his political journey, said he had consistently advocated the idea of a “United State of Taraba” as a platform for bringing the people together and overcoming divisions.

According to him, joining the APC was part of efforts to broaden the political opportunities available to Taraba and strengthen the state’s connection with the Federal Government.

Kefas said his administration remained focused on delivering development across the state, stressing that political differences should not be allowed to undermine the collective interests of Taraba residents.

He urged the people of the state to remain united and support initiatives aimed at improving security, infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic opportunities.

The governor maintained that the future of Taraba depends on the ability of its people to put aside divisions and work together towards a common goal.

He reiterated his commitment to a peaceful and prosperous Taraba, saying his administration would continue to pursue policies that promote inclusiveness and development across all parts of the state.
