Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia plans to cut most of its workforce in mainland China and gradually close its sites there by the end of 2026, the South China Morning Post reported on Tuesday.

Nokia said its China business has declined steadily in recent years and that it is adjusting its operations to align with the changing market.

The company did not provide further details on the scale of the workforce cuts or the sites affected.
